Likely causes

• Testing signups/magic links repeatedly with the default email provider.
• Using the default SMTP in production.

How to fix it

1. Set up a custom SMTP provider (e.g. Resend, Postmark, SES) under Authentication settings → SMTP.

2. After custom SMTP is configured, adjust auth rate limits under Authentication → Rate Limits.

3. During development, consider disabling email confirmation for test users.
